Color Changing Silly Bandz aren't the only color changing bandz on the planet. This video taken at Stretchy Shapes headquarters shows that the next two Stretchy Shapes designs are solar powered color changing animal bracelets. The video actually shows the Stretchy Shapes changing color, which is really cool.

I just got some samples of the Stretchy Shapes Happy Birthday designs, and they are really cool because they look different than any other rubber band bracelets out there. The bands are a clear color with glitter inside, so they sparkle on your wrist. The Stretchy Shapes Happy Birthday Pack contains twenty-four rubber band bracelets, four each of six different designs. The Stretchy Shapes Happy Birthday assortment includes Balloons, Birthday Cake, Party Hat, Cupcake, Present, and Party Horn rubber bands.

More Stretchy Shapes Funny Messages

 Stretchy-shapes-my-backpack-new
Yesterday, I blogged about some of the funny messages that Stretchy Shapes  is putting on their new insert cards. Since Stretchy Shapes come in a neat zippered carrying case, most people save the packaging. I wouldn't be surprised if people start collecting the different versions of the Stretchy Shapes insert cards just like they collect Stretchy Shapes. Above is the new insert card for the Stretchy Shapes My Backpack Pack which has the message "contains no latex or homework."

Stretchy Shapes Funny Messages Packs

  Stretchy-shapes-fast-food-new
Earlier I blogged about the message on the new insert cards for Stretchy Shapes Sightings Pack. The message says "contains no latex or residual hauntings." It turns out that the Sightings Pack isn't the only Stretchy Shape Pack with a funny message. For example, the Stretchy Shapes Fast Food Pack above has the message "contains no latex or high-fructose corn syrup." Keep reading for some more funny messages from Stretchy Shapes.

Stretchy Shapes Good Job Pack

  Stretchy-shapes-good-job-assortment
I just got some samples of the designs in the Stretchy Shapes Good Job Pack. Even though newspapers only report on the schools that are banning Silly Bandz, there are a lot of schools that actually use Silly Bandz as a reward for students who have done a good job. Making a Good Job assortment is a really good idea, because these would be great designs for teachers to use to reward students. The Stretchy Shapes Good Job Pack contains twenty-four rubber band bracelets, four each of six different designs. The Stretchy Shapes Good Job assortment includes Certificate, Blue Ribbon, Gold Trophy, Silver Trophy, Bronze Trophy, and Medal rubber band bracelets.

Stretchy Shapes Puts Two Designs Into Time Out

  Stretchy-shapes-mold
There is a cool post over on the Stretchy Shapes blog. It is cool for two reasons. One reason is that it shows one of the actual molds used to make one of their assortments of Animal Bracelets. If you've ever wondered how they get those rubber bands into such detailed shapes, the mold in the picture is how they do it. The other cool thing about the post is that they are announcing that they are putting two of their assortments into time out.

Stretchy Shapes Hipster Pack

  Stretchy-shapes-hipster-assortment
I just got some samples today of the Stretchy Shapes Hipster Pack. All the Hipster designs are very detailed. They also are all tie-dyed, which is very popular right now. The Stretchy Shapes Hipster assortment includes Guitar, Love, Lava Lamp, Bus, Peace Sign, and Peace Symbol rubber bands. There are twenty-four rubber band bracelets in a pack, four each of six different designs. My favorite is the Peace Symbol, which will likely become as popular as the MP3 Player is in the Stretchy Shapes My Backpack Pack. I can tell already that the Peace Symbol will be a band that you will have to trade multiple other rubber bands for.

Stretchy Shapes Reveals Three New Designs

  Happy-birthday-stretchy-shapes
Stretchy Shapes has just announced three brand new designs, and as we've come to expect from Stretchy Shapes, they are all really detailed, cool and unique designs. The first new design is called the Stretchy Shapes Happy Birthday Pack. The Happy Birthday assortment includes Balloons, Birthday Cake, Party Hat, Cupcake, Present, and Party Horn rubber band bracelets. The special feature on these bands is that they are dotted with red, green, purple, blue, yellow and silver confetti. I know these are going to be a huge hit, because people are going to buy them and hand them out in goody bags at birthday parties. It's a great idea for rubber band shapes.

Stretchy Shapes Delivers Green House Rubber Bands To Habitat For Humanity

Green-house-rubber-bands Great news from Stretchy Shapes. They recently shipped out a huge bag of green house shaped rubber bands to a Nashville Area Habitat For Humanity. Stretchy Shapes doesn't sell the bands, but Habitat was looking for a special green Habitat band to give out to their volunteers, so Stretchy Shapes was more than happy to help out such a worthwhile organization. The bag contained thousands of the special bands, along with a note that said "Keep up the good work! Love, the Stretchy Shapes Fairies."
