Save The Gulf Silly Bandz Are Thermo Activated
A couple weeks ago I blogged about Save The Gulf Silly Bandz, which is special pack of Silly Bandz designed to raise money for those affected by the Gulf oil spill. The Silly Bandz Save The Gulf Bandz Pack has now been officially released on the SillyBandz.com website. Forty cents from each pack of Save The Gulf Silly Bandz will go to Gulf oil spill related charities. BCP Imports, LLC (Silly Bandz) will donate to both the National Wildlife Federation and the Greater New Orleans Foundation.
The Save the Gulf Silly Bandz Pack will contain twenty-four rubber band bracelets, four each of six different designs. The Save the Gulf assortment includes Dolphins, Sea Turtles, Pelicans, Crawfish, Seagulls, and Coral Reef. Save the Gulf Silly Bandz will also mark the debut of the first Silly Bandz with “thermochromatic technology.” Thermo activated Silly Bandz change to different colors in various temperatures. The color change can be triggered by any change in temperature including in the freezer, under water, or even one’s own body temperature. A tie dye effect is created when the thermo activated Silly Bandz are in the process of shifting back to room temperature. Both the Dolphin and the Crawfish Silly Bandz will be thermo activated.

Bandyz also has a Gulf Coast Rescue Edition Pack. Bandyz donates $2.00 from the sale of each pack to Tri-State Bird Rescue and research.

Bandy'z donates 2$ but they aren't in every retail chain like Silly Bandz. In the end that .40 cents from each silly bandz pack will add up to way more that what they raise on bandyz.com because they'll sell millions more packs.

i agree with dragmire666. .40 is actually out of there wholesale cost i think to all those stores. They'll definitely sell at least a million packs and start donating some solid money to helping the Gulf Coast. Good job silly bandz!
