Wow, would the Silly Bandz craze be spreading as fast as it is, if all the newspapers and television stations weren’t reporting on all the school bans of Silly Bandz? A couple months ago there were only one or two stories that would come out about Silly Bandz a month. Now, it seems like everyone is writing a story about schools banning Silly Bandz.

Time Magazine, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and virtually every newspaper in the United States has reported on schools banning Silly Bandz. Silly Bandz school bans have also been reported on CBS News, Good Morning America, and local TV stations in various states.

in my school they didn't ban them but if you take it off of your wrist and a teacher sees you, they grab the silly band and cut it in half! it is like you are in a scary movie! thank goodness my teachers only took them away rather than clipping them. it's just not fair to the silly band! i used to be able to trade in music class with my friends and my TEACHER but now she just wears them and when she sees yours off of your wrist she wears it and never gives it back.
i hope they wont ban them 100% by the time i get back!
