A Funny Story About A Mom's Struggle To Find Silly Bandz
The Nashville Scene has a funny article on their website about a mom's struggle to find Silly Bandz in Nashville. The article is called "Wanna know where to get Silly Bandz, the hottest kids' accessory of the moment? Tough." The article is written by a mother whose daughter Punky tells her that everyone in her class has Silly Bandz except her.
The mother then goes on a hunt to find Silly Bandz for her daughter, but she has trouble finding out which stores sell them. One of her friends tells her they won't let kids wear them anymore at her kid's school, so she jokes that her kid thinks they are called "Contra Bandz."
The mother calls Phillips' Toy Mart, but it turns out that they are already out when she calls. She keeps asking other parents where to get them, but no one wants to give up their source. Finally, someone tells her that they sell them at Sweet N Sassy, but before she can go to get them, one of her friends puts three Silly Bandz packs in her mailbox. She also finds out that a store right around the corner from her house carries them.
If you're having trouble finding Silly Bandz like this mom, I have a list of stores that carry Animal Bracelets. As far as stores that sell Silly Bandz in Nashville, there is Learning Express, Phillips Toy Mart, Spruce Living, Divas N Dudes (use to be Sweet N Sassy), Hallmark stores, Main Street Toy Co., and kiosks in the Cool Springs Mall and Opry Mills Mall.
